Cabo de Gata beach is a "must visit" for any true naturist, or nude adventurist!  The ambience invites one to live freely, to let anybody do whatever he wants,

What makes Cabo de Gata beach unique is the squatter settlement close to it. Only accessible by boat or on foot, several people have rebuilt the abandoned houses and sheds to live there all year round. Now they have their own village, with rules, running water (more or less) and even electricity provided by generators. Others camp there for a night or a few days. All of this is illegal, of course, but police don't bother them provided they respect the environment and don't create problems. The truth is, there is a special atmosphere on the beach that transmits also to those who only spend a few hours there.

This unique geological structure features thousands of hexagonal basalt columns formed 100,000 years ago when lava flow slowed and then cooled and cracked.

Any Goodies VIP member who enjoys living the Goodies lifestyle will not regret visiting this amazing spot when in California!

Escape the grind and catch some sunshine by heading to Hoyt's Crossing in Nevada City. Situated along the South Yuba River, Hoyt's Crossing offers sandy beaches and access to a number of nearby swimming holes. The best part? Naturists and nude bathing abound at this magical spot!  It’s usually very busy and it is known as a nude beach, That does frighten some people away (good riddance!) as almost all the people there are nude.

To get to Hoyt's Crossing, drive east on Interstate 80 until you reach exit 119B for Auburn. Follow Highway 49 for about 40 miles until you reach the river. Hoyt's Trail begins just off the highway. The drive can be long depending on where you are coming from, so plan on spending the whole day in Nevada City (probably Goodies Magazine's favorite little city in California).

Bodie State Historic Park is a genuine California gold-mining ghost town. It is an absolutely incredible experience. Visitors can walk down the deserted streets of a town that once had a population of nearly 10,000 people! The town is named for Waterman S. Body (William Bodey), who had discovered small amounts of gold in hills north of Mono Lake. In 1875, a mine cave-in revealed pay dirt, which led to purchase of the mine by the Standard Company in 1877. People flocked to Bodie and transformed it from a town of a few dozen to a boomtown. Only a small part of the town survives, preserved in a state of "arrested decay." Interiors remain as they were left and stocked with goods. Designated as a National Historic Site and a State Historic Park in 1962, the remains of Bodie are being preserved in a state of "arrested decay". Today this once thriving mining camp is visited by tourists, howling winds and an occasional ghost.

Goodies tip: Don't remove anything from Bodie as there is a curse!

The north end of Brooklyn Bridge Park features historic Jane’s Carousel as well as picturesque views of the Manhattan skyline.

DUMBO is an acronym of "Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass". The area was originally a ferry landing, characterized by 19th- and early 20th-century industrial and warehouse buildings, Belgian block streets, and its location on the East River by the imposing anchorage of the Manhattan Bridge. The area has emerged as one of New York City's premier arts districts.

Several attractive beaches line the shores of Conde, in Southern Paraíba, with their cliffs, coral reefs, estuaries and warm waters. This town with about 21,400 inhabitants, located about 13 miles from João Pessoa, the state capital, is one of Paraíba's most popular touristic destinations. However, what is making it famous internationally is mainly Tambaba, one of the most beautiful nude beaches in Brazil.

A naturism spot made official by city legislation two decades ago, Tambaba is also open to bathers who prefer to keep their swimsuits on. The beach is divided into two areas, with the southern part, reserved for naturism only, clearly indicated by signs.

The Tambaba naturist community is organized under SONATA (the Tambaba Naturism Association), affiliated with FBrN (the Brazilian Naturist Federation) and INF-FNi (the International Naturist Federation). It abides by the ethics of naturism and local rules.

Mont-Doré is a town situated south-west of Clermont-Ferrand in the heart of the Regional Park of the Auvergne Volcanoes, in the Massif Central.

The region around Mont-Doré is known as Sancy, after the Puy de Sancy, at 1886 metres the highest point in the Massif Central, that stands at the end of the valley behind the town.

The town is very well known as a spa town, with the main baths in the town dating from the first half of the 19th century. Rather sombre from the outside, the thermal baths are actually a very impressive architectural sight that incorporates many styles and includes painted ceilings, marble columns and impressive steel and glass work by Gustave Eiffel. Tours are available even if you are not using the spa facilities.
